The excitement for Adele’s upcoming album is reaching a fever pitch (see what we did there?) and the superstar has now announced that she will be having a televised performance just days before 30 drops. 

The two-hour event has been titled Adele One Night Only and will be the first time that the “Easy On Me” singer has shared her new music. The special will also feature an exclusive sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey in which she will discuss her new album, weight loss journey, and life after divorce. 

Adele One Night Only will premiere on November 14 at 20:30-22:30 Eastern Time on CBS, while 30 comes out five days later on November 19^th.

As the clock struck midnight in the UK on October 15, Adele fans breathed a collective sigh of relief (some hyperventilated…) courtesy of the Grammy winner’s new single being officially available. 

The “Easy on Me” singer had been teasing the track for weeks—first releasing the initial few bars, and then revealing the first verse during an Instagram Live session with her fans. 

But the wait is officially over!

Not only did the audio version of “Easy on Me” dropped in its entirety, but it was also joined by a monotone music video that was classically Adele and reminiscent of her videos for “Hello” and “Someone Like You”.

The artist’s first song in 5 years is likely to be played on repeat until her fourth studio album, 30, is released in a few weeks.

Just a few days after releasing the tiniest snippet of her new single, the “Water Under the Bridge” singer shared a bit more during an Instagram Live session. 

With an hour to kill before an interview, the Grammy winner hopped onto the platform and hung out with her supporters, answering questions about her upcoming album.

“I’m excited to get it out into the world at last,” Adele said in reference to 30 that does not yet have a release date. “I do have a favorite song from the new album, but I’m not gonna tell you what it is ’cause you don’t have the tracklist yet.”

A week ago, the world’s most recognized landmarks were projected with the number 30, signaling that the superstar was making her return to music after 6 years.

According to the singer, the new record is based on “divorce, babe. Divorce.”

With the album’s first single, “Easy on Me”, scheduled to drop on October 15^th, Adele kindly played the first 40 seconds of the ballad which will surely be a hit.

On October 1st,  Buckingham Palace, the Eiffel Tower, the Empire State Building, and other global landmarks were splashed with the number 30 which has long been believed to be the title of Adele’s forthcoming album. 

The “Rolling in the Deep” singer has always called her albums after the age she was while creating them. Thirty was particularly significant for the now-33-year-old singer as it was the year leading up to the divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki. 

The Grammy Award winner has also changed the logos on all her official social media accounts hinting that the album really is on its way.

Rumor has it (see what we did there?) that 30 will drop on November 19^th.

If you are a big fan of Adele, you have probably noticed that things have been a little quiet on the album front for a while. Believe it or not, it’s been five years since the release of her last album, 25, which came out in 2015.

Adele’s fourth album, which will presumably be called 30, was set to be released in the third quarter of 2020. Now, Adele’s manager Jonathan Dickins has revealed that there is no longer a set date for when the album will arrive.

Dickins told MusicWeek: “It isn’t coming in September, it’ll be ready when it’s ready. We’re all in the same boat, you’re doing stuff and then all of a sudden, the world stops. It’ll come when it’s ready. I can’t put a date on that yet. We have music, but we’re still working.”
