Aerosmith confirmed earlier this week that most of their 2021 live shows are now being rescheduled for next year. This includes the European leg of the tour, which was set to kick off this May.

The new dates are still being finalized, but they are expected to be in June and July of 2022.

The band recently updated some of the dates for the tour and accidentally revealed that they will play at the UK’s iconic Glastonbury Festival. The posting was deleted shortly after, but some fans managed to take a screenshot before that. 

The group still left one show listed for 2021. They are set to play at Fenway Park in Boston on September 14th at the moment, but it remains to be seen whether they’ll go through with the concert.

 Aerosmith has been focused on touring for the better part of the past decade, with their last album, titled Music from Another Dimension!, coming out in 2012. There was chatter about new material in recent years, but the band still hasn’t confirmed they will release a new record anytime soon.

A stellar lineup for this year’s Super Bowl Music Fest has been assembled and we’re excited! The three-night music fest, which runs January 31st through February 2nd, is one of the most anticipated music events in the days leading up to the NFL’s biggest night.

The Rolling Stone confirms that Aerosmith, Ludacris and Bruno Mars will be among the artists performing at the festival.

Hip-hop will be on display on the festival’s first night with hometown artists Ludacris, Migos, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, Metro Boomin’ and Lil Jon taking the stag. February 1st will feature Aerosmith with Post Malone scheduled to join the set. The last day will see performances by Bruno Mars and Cardi B.

Some artists have chosen to boycott events related to the Super Bowl, but not Lil Jon. He spoke with Atlanta Journal Constitution about the event that will take place at Atlanta’s State Farm, Arena.

“It’s our hometown, we gotta. It’s rare when we’re able to showcase what we love about this city and showcase our city. I think it’s more about the city than it is anything else. The Super Bowl is the Super Bowl, but this is the city we’ve grown up in, we launched our careers in and the city we live in. It’s about showcasing everything we love about our city.”

The American rock band has announced that they have a headlining residency scheduled for next April through to July. The show will be called “Deuces are Wild” and kicks off April 6, 2019, at the Park Theatre at the new Park MGM on the Vegas strip.

“We are going to bring hot, sexy rock and roll to Vegas!!” said Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry.  “The residency allows us to take 50 years of performing experience and create a one of kind show with the best music, best production design, best sound, in a world-class state of the art venue. These shows will be epic!”

The residency will feature “never-seen-before visuals and audio from Aerosmith recording sessions”. The band has collaborated with THX and L-Acoustics, who will deliver “the world’s first THX Certified live performance presented in L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound.”

The 18 dates which have been announced so far are:

April 2019: 6, 8, 11, 13, 16, 18, 21, 23, 26

June 2019: 19, 22, 24, 27, 29

July 2019: 2, 4, 7, 9

Tickets will be available for presale August 20. Members of Aerosmith’s “Aero Force One” fan club can book tickets on August 16.
