]]>The pop sensation decided to get the words “7 Rings” tattoo’d on her palm to commemorate her hot new single reaching number one in the US charts. She decided to get the words written in Kanji characters, which has different meanings in Japanese and Chinese.
In Chinese, the tattoo translates to “7 wheels” which in our opinion is close enough. Unfortunately, the tattoo translates to “shichirin” in Japanese, which is a BBQ grill.
Although some users have taken to Twitter to call the star out on the ignorant but innocent mistake, Grande has taken comments on the chin and styled out her new tat.
She tweeted then deleted: “It hurt like f**k n still looks tight. I wouldn’t have lasted one more symbol lmao. But this spot also peels a ton and won’t last so if I miss it enough, I’ll suffer thru the whole thing next time.”
She jokingly added: “Also….. huge fan of tiny bbq grills.”
