“Berlin Station” Canceled By Epix

Berlin Station is officially closed.

Deadline reports that Epix has pulled the plug on the international spy thriller, making its third season, its last. News of the cancelation comes about a month after the Season 3 finale.

Berlin Station starred Richard Armitage, Michelle Forbes, Leland Orser, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Ashley Judd, Keke Palmer, Richard Jenkins, and Rhys Ifans.

Armitage starred as CIA officer Daniel Miller, who was shipped off to Berlin on an undercover mission to identify the source of a dangerous leak. Ifans co-starred as CIA officer Hector DeJean, with Jenkins as station chief Steven Frost and Forbes as administrator Valerie Edwards. Judd joined in Season 2 as the new Berlin station chief.

Berlin Station was created by Olen Steinhauer. Jason Horwitch served as showrunner. Eric Roth, Steve Golin, Kerry Kohansky-Roberts, Keith Redmon and Luke Rivett from Anonymous Content executive produced alongside Steinhauer. The series was produced by Paramount Television.

Film Producer Harvey Weinstein Accused of Sexual Harassment

American film producer and former studio executive Harvey Weinstein has been accused of sexual harassment by numerous women. According to The New York Times, which first broke the news, Weinstein’s inappropriate behavior lasted almost three decades. Among the women who accused Weinstein of sexual harassment are actresses Ashley Judd and Rose Mcgowan. It has been also reported that Weinstein, over three decades, reached at least eight settlements with women who accused him of inappropriate behavior. After the sexual harassment allegations went public, The Weinstein Company, which was co-founded by Harvey Weinstein, fired him.

Weinstein gave a statement about the allegations, in which he claims the story published by The New York Times is “saturated with false and defamatory statements” and also revealed he intends to sue the newspaper.

Harvey Weinstein is best known as one of the founder of Miramax, the studio that produced numerous cult movies such as Pulp Fiction. Weinstein has an Academy Award for producing the movie Shakespeare In Love and has won 7 Tony Awards for his work in theater and musicals.
