The post New “Avengers: Endgame” Posters Reveal Who Survived and Who Didn’t appeared first on EverydayKoala.
]]>As most know by now, Avengers: Infinity War didn’t end too well for many characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But what we didn’t realise until now is just how far that extended…
“The Snap” caused by Thanos resulted in many beloved characters perishing, with the upcoming Avengers: Endgame focusing on attaining revenge for their deaths.
Whilst the majority of the deaths were shown or acknowledged on-screen, the latest round of posters from Marvel includes some revelations that we were not ready for!
The posters are of the films’ characters, with some in color and others in black and white — signifying just who survived The Snap.
And as it turns out, even more of our favourites didn’t make it than we originally thought.
According to the posters, Shuri — the super cool Wakandan princess played by Letitia Wright — was “dusted” off-screen, and fans are not impressed.
Even more reason to avenge the fallen when Avengers: Endgame is released on 26 April.

]]>The post Captain Marvel Projects $100 Million Opening Weekend appeared first on EverydayKoala.
]]>The $100 million estimate is a remarkable figure for a film whose main actress, Larson, isn’t a major character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Her only mention in the MCU came during Infinity War where she was mentioned as a ’90s era pilot called Carol Danvers.
Marvel’s films have earned great success over the years. Last year, Black Panther earned over $1 billion dollars worldwide. Infinity War doubled that amount while Ant-Man and the Wasp earned $500 million at the box office.
To reach the heights of Infinity War, Captain Marvel will have to outdo every other female-led cast superhero film before. Wonder Woman may have opened to $103 million in 2017, but it grossed just over $821 million globally.
Of course, Wonder Woman was a DC film, and DC films have been performing relatively lower than MCU franchises for a while. Captain Marvel’s story that aligns well with the MCU Universe may also help steer the film forward. Larson is also an Oscar award winner and she is joined by a team full of A-list actors and actresses.

With all the infinity stones, Thanos harnesses the power to wipe out half of all lifeforms across all dimensions, including poor old Springfield.
The latest Simpsons couch gag shows Thanos sitting on the sofa while America’s favourite cartoon family stand around watching. With the help of Maggie and her dummy, Thanos clicks his fingers and wipes out Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa, all to Maggie’s amusement.

]]>The role of brilliant princess Shuri put her on the map, and she played it in both Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War. Wright also starred in Steven Spielberg’s hit film Ready Player One, and all of these projects earned a total of $1.55 billion on domestic box office.
The young star channeled her inner Shuri after hearing the amazing news, and simply wrote: “just deposit that amount into my bank account.”
Despite her enormous success, Wright is still pretty down the Earth, and she’s not letting sudden fame go to her head. “You can easily get lost in what’s happening, because everybody’s like, ‘This is amazing.’ And then you can think in a way that your ego gets really big, but you shouldn’t. I should remain humble, ‘cause that’s the important thing,” said Letitia Wright shortly after Black Panther hit the theaters.

]]>Despite its domination in movie categories, Infinity War wasn’t the most rewarded contestants at this year’s edition of People’s Choice Awards. Freeform’s hit show Shadowhunters managed to scoop four shiny statues in TV categories thanks to its devoted fan base. It revived awards for best show, the most binge-worthy show and best male and female TV stars of 2018.
South Korean boy band BTS proved its domination in musical categories, by winning awards for best band, song and music video of 2018. The boys of BTS also won the title of the best social celebrity of the year.

]]>Many who watched Avengers: Infinity War thought that Captain America may have joined some of his fellow Avengers in a not-so-happy ending…
Instead, it appears as though the superhero’s potential demise might yet be coming in Avengers 4.
Chris finished filming on the project and sent out a tweet which has left fans wondering whether he’s saying goodbye to the set… or the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole.
Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.
— Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) October 4, 2018
“Officially wrapped on Avengers 4,” the 37-year-old wrote on Twitter. “It was an emotional day, to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.”
Or, perhaps, Chris is following in the footsteps of DC’s Superman, Henry Cavill, who is retiring his cape for someone else to don?
Either way, people like Ryan Reynolds AKA Deadpool, are sad:
I’m not crying. I’m weeping. There’s a difference.
— Ryan Reynolds (@VancityReynolds) October 4, 2018
“I’m not crying. I’m weeping. There a difference,” he wrote.
We guess we’ll find out when Avengers 4 is released on the 3rd of May 2019.

]]>Infinity War led the pack in the movie categories with a total of six nods, but it was closely followed by another critically acclaimed Marvel movie. Black Panther picked up five nominations, and it will be competing against the third Avengers movie for the coveted movie of the year award.
TV and music categories took people by surprise since the write-in votes played an important role this time around. South Korean boy band BTS was nominated in four different categories, mostly thanks to their strong fan base who supported them every step of the way. Same can be said about fantasy series Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments. It led the way in the TV nominations, after getting a total of five nods – mostly thanks to the write-in vote.
The strong fan base can get the nominees over the finish line at the People’s Choice Awards since the public is in charge of picking the winners. Voting will be open until October 19, but we’ll have to wait until November 11 to see the full list of winners.

]]>After Avengers: Infinity War shocked Marvel fans with that ending, many fans have been theorizing how MCU is going to bring back the Avengers that didn’t make it. Given that Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3 and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man sequel has been confirmed, we’re guessing that the characters have got to come back some way or another.
One of the more popular fan theories floating round is that time travel will be the solution. Peyton Reed, director of Ant-Man and the Wasp has entertained this theory and says that a time jump is a possibility.
“Based on the science that we’ve set up in the first movie and this one, I won’t rule out the possibility,” Reed told Huffington Post. “Because, again, we are dealing with a time vortex. That could happen.”
Although Ant-Man and the Wasp was set before Avengers: Infinity War, the film caught up with the current MCU timeline by the end of the film when The Wasp and her parents evaporated into dust. Reed discussed his approach to incorporating Thanos in the movie:
“It was the subject of a lot of conversation, obviously, about how we were gonna deal or if we were gonna deal with the events of Infinity War,” he said. “And when we landed on that structure, it just felt right to us.
“It felt like our movie and the playful attitude of our movie. We knew even before we put it before an audience. We hoped this feels like we’re kind of screwing with the audience in a really fun way.”
Part 2 of Avengers: Infinity War will be released April 26, 2019.

]]>If you’re still with us, then you’ll remember all too clearly the Infinity War climax where Thanos clicks his fingers and turns half the universe into dust.

Avengers: Endgame will arrive at cinemas April 26.

]]>The post Time Travel is a Possibility in “Avengers: Infinity War Part II” appeared first on EverydayKoala.
