Three fierce females are about to portray Charlie’s Angels on-screen, but off-screen there are three fierce females who you daren’t call angels.

On Thursday, Columbia Pictures dropped the first trailer for the upcoming Charlie’s Angels film that has been written by, directed, and starring Elizabeth Banks.

In the clip, Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska show off their butt-kicking moves while the film’s theme song plays in the background.

The track features Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey, and includes the lyrics, “Boy, don’t call me angel, you ain’t got me right.”

“I’m thrilled that three of my favorite artists ended up doing a song for the film,” Banks told PEOPLE. “It’s really exciting. I can’t wait for people to see it, actually in full, in the film and to hear it when the single drops. Of course, we were inspired by ‘Independent Women’ and Destiny’s Child with the last set of movies. I feel really grateful that this incredible group of artists took inspiration from these films as well and felt like working together as women, and [it] thematically matched up with the exact movie that we were making.”

We can’t wait to hear the rest of the soundtrack!

We finally get a first look at the newest generation of kickass Angels.

The forthcoming installment of Charlie’s Angels is directed by Elizabeth Banks who also stars in the feature. The three Angels are played by Ella Balinska, Naomi Scott, and Kristen Stewart.

The trailer reveals the familiar set up: three awesome women take on dangerous missions with style and class, led by mentors, all of whom go by the name of Bosley.

Banks will play a Bosley as will Sam Claflin, Djimon Hounsou, and Patrick Stewart.

“I think women can do anything,” Stewart’s character tells a businessman, who responds, “Just because they can doesn’t mean they should.”

“But I have so many talents,” she says before taking him down.

Charlie’s Angels debuted in 1976 and starred Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson, and Jaclyn Smith. The series ran for five years and aired 110 episodes. In 2000, it was rebooted as a feature film starring Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu.

The Angles hit theaters November 15, 2019.

There’s a lot of restructuring going on with the Hollywood release schedule.

It all began when Warner Bros. removed The Six Billion Dollar Man from its release schedule.

The Mark Wahlberg film which is based on the 1970s TV series of the same name was originally supposed to premiere on the 5th of June 2020 after the rights were purchased from The Weinstein Company. A director for the project has still not been announced, so it’s no surprise that the film has been delayed.

Instead, Warner Bros. has confirmed that it will release Wonder Woman 1984. The sequel to the 2017 hit starring Gal Gadot was initially expected on the 13th of December 2019 but has now been delayed for an epic summer debut, with Warner Bros. saying, “[with] the changing competitive landscape, this move lands the film exactly where it belongs.”

With Wonder Woman’s original release date now free, the Charlie’s Angels reboot will move earlier.

Sony has announced that the film, starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska as the kick-ass trio will hit screens on the 1st of November 2019.

Put them all in your diary!
