The stunning video shows Cabello haunted by the memories of the good times they had and seeing him everywhere she goes. By the time the video ends, the young singer finally learns to move on and let go of the past.
It’s no coincidence Cabello picked this song to be the last single out of her debut album, but some of her advisers didn’t support this decision. The singer knew it’s the right call because she wanted to close this era with a song that will make people feel and think about someone they loved and lost.
“My goal is to challenge myself by not doing what feels predictable or obvious, to do things that excite me, and give you the most honest representation of who I am through music. If this era tugs on your heart string even a little bit, that’s all I care about,” wrote former Fifth Harmony singer on Instagram.
