]]>As the clock struck midnight in the UK on October 15, Adele fans breathed a collective sigh of relief (some hyperventilated…) courtesy of the Grammy winner’s new single being officially available.
The “Easy on Me” singer had been teasing the track for weeks—first releasing the initial few bars, and then revealing the first verse during an Instagram Live session with her fans.
But the wait is officially over!
Not only did the audio version of “Easy on Me” dropped in its entirety, but it was also joined by a monotone music video that was classically Adele and reminiscent of her videos for “Hello” and “Someone Like You”.
The artist’s first song in 5 years is likely to be played on repeat until her fourth studio album, 30, is released in a few weeks.

]]>Just a few days after releasing the tiniest snippet of her new single, the “Water Under the Bridge” singer shared a bit more during an Instagram Live session.
With an hour to kill before an interview, the Grammy winner hopped onto the platform and hung out with her supporters, answering questions about her upcoming album.
“I’m excited to get it out into the world at last,” Adele said in reference to 30 that does not yet have a release date. “I do have a favorite song from the new album, but I’m not gonna tell you what it is ’cause you don’t have the tracklist yet.”
A week ago, the world’s most recognized landmarks were projected with the number 30, signaling that the superstar was making her return to music after 6 years.
According to the singer, the new record is based on “divorce, babe. Divorce.”
With the album’s first single, “Easy on Me”, scheduled to drop on October 15th, Adele kindly played the first 40 seconds of the ballad which will surely be a hit.

She also went viral after she responded to a post from Twitter that read, “hello literally everyone,” regarding the outage on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, writing, “Hiya babes!”
Adele’s next album hasn’t been announced yet, but fans have been speculating that it will be called 30, which follows her previous albums that she named for the age she started working on them. Mysterious billboards popped up all around the world with the number 30 last week, which fueled rumors.
The upcoming album would be Adele’s first in six years, following 25.
