The A Star Is Born co-stars treated fans to a surprise “Shallow” duet during in Las Vegas. During Gaga’s Saturday night’s show of her Las Vegas residency, Enigma, Copper joined Gaga on stage to perform the oscar-nominated hit single from the film. 

As Cooper took to the stage, the two embraced and he followed Gaga to the piano. Taking a seat at a stool Cooper made his way through the first verse of the song, after which Gaga took her seat at the piano and belted out the rest of the track. 

As well as the song being nominated for the Best Original Song Oscar, Cooper and Gaga were nominated for Best Actor and Best Actress, and the film received a nom for Best Picture. 

The charismatic duo are set to perform “Shallow” at this year’s Academy Awards in February.

The 32-year-old singer kicked off her Las Vegas residency, Enigma, on Friday night and it was quite literally out of this world. The concert began with Enigma a glittery metallic alien welcoming the crowd of over 5,000 Gaga fans. Enigma was actually introduced to a few hours prior via Lady Gaga’s social media. 

The A Star Is Born star belted out a 90-minute-long set of fan favorites including the hits “Bad Romance” and “Telephone.”

Gaga’s Las Vegas Residency debut brought out a swarm of celebrities including Adam Lambert, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl, Avengers star Jeremy Renner, actresses Regina King and Marisa Tomei, and others.

“We have shared so much. I love you with all my heart,” Gaga told the crowd, per PEOPLE. “I’ll tell you something. There’s a lot of stuff that goes on in my life that none of you have ever seen, and I try to share some of it with you. But, I can’t share it all because you have to be there to see it. So in some small way, I guess my enigma came to me so I could share some small part of me with you.”

Lady Gaga is set to perform a total of 23 Enigma shows.
