The worldwide event will take place on March 25. At 200 international Dolby Atmos theaters, fans will be able to simultaneously listen to the new Pearl Jam album for the first time. The experience will mix creative visuals with high-quality playback of the record. “Dance of the Clairvoyants” filmmaker Evolve is providing the visuals.

The news was announced by the band on Twitter along with a link to where you can buy tickets. Gigaton will be the band’s first album since 2013’s Grammy Award-winning Lightning Bolt.

“It’s truly a unique way to experience this album,” says Gigaton producer Josh Evans. “I’m excited for fans to be able to immerse themselves in the sound and to hear the depth and layers of these songs and performances.”

After endless hits and cryptic messages, the band confirmed that their new album, Gigaton, will drop March 27. They also confirmed that they’ll be going on a 16-date tour of North America in March and June.

“Making this record was a long journey,” guitarist Mike McCready wrote on the band’s official website. “It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. Collaborating with my bandmates on Gigaton ultimately gave me greater love, awareness, and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times.”

Gigaton is Pearl Jam’s first record since 2013’s Lightning Bolt.
