]]>The carefree video, directed by Jake Schreier, shows Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim hanging out in an empty parking lot. The video opens with the trio walking towards the camera, but they later pick up the pace and start running together until they’re out of breath.
The entire video was filmed at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Haim revealed they chose this venue because they were supposed to headline their next tour at The Forum before quarantine hit.
The music video for “Don’t Wanna” was released only a couple of days after their latest album Women in Music Pt. III came out on June 26th. It was preceded by the singles “Summer Girl”, “Now I’m in It” and “Hallelujah”.

]]>Women in Music Pt. III is coming our way on April 24th, and the cover art for this album shows the sisters posing at a retro deli surrounded by meat tubes. The cover – like the videos for their previous singles “Summer Girl”, “Now I’m in It”, “Hallelujah”, and a new song “The Steps” — has been shot by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson.
Danielle Haim was the one who came up with the album title, and her sisters agreed to go with it since it made them re-think some of their experiences in the music industry.
“The name came to me in a dream and I woke up laughing, so I told my sisters. I liked it because we are literally women in music and we always get written about that way, so it seemed cool to make it our own and control the narrative,” Danielle said in a statement.

“2019 is coming to a close and here’s a little something to say thank you for all the love you guys have given our songs that we released this year,” Danielle and Este Haim wrote in the video description. “We appreciate everyone who submitted and we added a few surprises, too! There’s so much more we want to share, but you’re just gonna have to wait [until] 2020. I’m not crying, you’re crying ”
The original official video, released just last month, was directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.
