]]>It’s no secret that Henry Cavill is a super guy. But something even more super? His mustache.
The fraction of facial hair — which the actor had grown for Mission Impossible — Fallout and producers would not let him shave — became a celebrity in and of itself when it had to be removed using CGI for reshoots of Justice League.
Now, life is imitating art, as Superman has gone and removed the ‘stache without using CGI, but a razor and some shaving cream instead.
Henry acknowledges that the loss might be hard for some, urging viewers not to be alarmed by his new appearance, and saying, “He’s really gone. I can tell you this though, I will remember him, always.”
The video even includes a montage of mustached pictures so the memories may live on forever.
We guess Henry hasn’t heard about those Mission Impossible reshoots which were suddenly required…
