Moranis has stepped away from acting in 1997 and concentrated on raising his children. However, he continued to do voice over in films such as Brother Bear and The Animated Adventures of Bob & Doug McKenzie.

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids has already spawned a sequel – Honey, I Blew Up the Kid and a direct to video movie, Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves. The first two movies earned $281 million combined.
