Urban’s latest studio album, The Speed of Now Part 1, was released on September 18th. It was preceded by singles “We Were” and “God Whispered Your Name”. Both songs made it to the top 10 on Billboard’s U.S. Country Airplay chart.

]]>Multiple outlets confirm that host and nominee Urban and fellow nominee Lambert have been added to the annual music awards show’s lineup. Also set to perform on the night are Lindsay Ell, Caylee Hammack, Elle King, Ashley McBryde, and Tenille Townes.
The ACMs will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 5. The announcement was followed by an announcement regarding the ceremony in light of the fears over to the Coronavirus.
“The Academy of Country Music® and dick clark productions remain committed to serving fans and our Country Music community by producing THE 55TH ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS… We are closely monitoring the situation along with the MGM team, who are in continuous contact with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Southern Nevada Health District, and other agencies and experts for guidance. We will take every precaution to ensure the safety of our artists, staff, crew, guests and attendees.”
