On Sunday it was announced that production has been shut-down for all late-night shows.

The news comes less than a week after many late-night shows in New York decided to continue broadcasting their shows, but without live studio audiences. Among them were the Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallen, Late Night With Seth Meyers, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, Watch What Happens Live, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and The Greg Gutfeld Show.

But, with things left unknown and the panic only rising with the coronavirus, all late-night shows decided to completely suspend production starting March 16 with some programs hopefully returning at the end of the month.

The Late Late Show With James Corden was the most recent show to shut-down production and the show’s host took to Twitter to comment on the announcement, “We really explored every option to try and put a show on for you, but right now feel the safest thing to do is to stop for a moment and take advice further down the line. Stay safe out there.”

TBS confirmed that Conan O’Brien’s show is still unaffected by the coronavirus as the show was already on a prescheduled two-week hiatus and this week’s episodes of Conan were pre-taped.
