They shared the exciting news on Twitter thanking fans for supporting them, “Heartbreak Anthem is #7 this week… which means IT’S OUR 100TH WEEK IN THE UK TOP 10. From Cannonball to Heartbreak Anthem we can’t thank you enough for your support over the years.”

“Heartbreak Anthem” has spent nine weeks in the Top 10, making it the group’s fifth most successful single. Their other top singles are “Sweet Melody”, which has spent 13 weeks in the Top 10, “Shout Out To My Ex” and “Reggaeton Lenton” (a collab with CNCO) follow at 11 weeks, and “Touch” at 10.

In May, Little Mix became the first all-women group in history to win the BRIT Award for Best British Group. They’ve been nominated for seven BRIT Awards and won three.

In an official statement announcing her departure, Nelson described the past nine years with Little Mix as the most incredible time of her life. She decided to leave the group due to struggles with mental health and the constant pressure she’s dealt with over the years.

“There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves rather than focusing on making other people happy, and I feel like now is the time to begin that process,” wrote Nelson on Instagram.

The remaining members of Little Mix, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, supported Nelson’s decision to do “what is right for her mental health and well-being”. They still intend to keep performing together, and they thanked their fans for their loyalty and continued support during this difficult time.

Little Mix was formed during the eighth season of the British version of The X Factor, and it went on to become one of the most successful acts to come out of this show during the 2010s. They released six studio albums together and won two Brit Awards and six MTV Europe Music Awards.
