Darren Criss and his wife Mia are set to become parents for the first time. 

The couple has been together for a decade, having dated for 7 years before tying the knot in February 2019. Now, two-and-a-half years after their New Orleans wedding, they have announced that a little one is joining the fam. 

The Glee actor shared the news on the ‘gram with a sweet video clip of the expectant parents listening to their baby’s heartbeat in a recording studio. 

“We’ve been making music for years… But this time we made a BEAT. The ultimate collab droppin Spring 2022,” the singing star wrote. 

Darren also posted a sonogram with the title “Baby Von Criss”.

The Glee alum announced his engagement about a year ago, with an adorable photo on Instagram. This post made it clear they can’t wait to start their new life together, and it was just a matter of time before they got hitched.

“Mia and I have had seven and a half years of fun, wacky, wonderful, CRAZY adventures together. And I’m happy to announce that we’re kicking those adventures up a notch. We’re goin for it. To boldly go where neither of us have gone before. Engage,” Criss said at the time.

2019 is already shaping up to be the best year of Criss’ life, since his wedding day came shortly after a series of professional accomplishments. He kicked this year off by winning a Golden Globe and a SAG Award for his critically acclaimed performance in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.
