]]>The Beatles-inspired psychedelic era track “Regimental Sgt. Zippo,” is one of the songs that will be featured on his forthcoming eight-disc collection titled Elton: Jewel Box.
A month ago, when the collection was announced, John said: “To delve back through every period of my career in such detail for Jewel Box has been an absolute pleasure. Hearing these long lost tracks again, I find it hard to comprehend just how prolific Bernie [Taupin] and I were during the early days.”
The highly anticipated collection is set to drop November 13.

“I’ve always loved P!nk’s voice. But her artistry and her multi-faceted ability to create, and her God-given talent, truly makes her one of the greatest voices of our time,” said Urban in a statement.
Urban’s latest studio album, The Speed of Now Part 1, was released on September 18th. It was preceded by singles “We Were” and “God Whispered Your Name”. Both songs made it to the top 10 on Billboard’s U.S. Country Airplay chart.

]]>The Grammy-winning band has released a new track in honor of the late Afrobeat legend and Damon Albarn’s close friend, who died April 30 at the age of 79.
The new song, “How Far?” featuring Allen, “was written and recorded with Skepta in London just before lockdown and is being shared immediately as a tribute to the spirit of a great man, Tony Allen,” the band said Saturday.
The first installment of the band’s “Song Machine” was released on January 30 with English rapper slowthai and the American band Slaves. “Song Machine” episodes 2 and 3 came at the end of February and the beginning of April, respectively.

]]>Taylor Swift has released her recording of the song she wrote with Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Webber said of working with Swift, “I think she’s written lyrics that are first, dramatic, and secondly, it’s almost as if she’s read T.S. Eliot herself. Maybe she had because she’s so thorough and professional.”
The song about feeling an outsider will be performed by the graceful white cat Victoria (Francesca Hayward) in the film. Swift will also appear in the film as Bombalurina.
Cats will purr its way to theaters on December 20.
