The first look at The King of Staten Island is here ahead of its summer release. The film, set to open SXSW before a theatrical release, will now premiere June 12 on digital platforms.

The semi-autobiographical comedy is based in part on Davidson’s own life. It also stars Maude Apatow, Marisa Tomei, Bel Powley, Steve Buscemi, Pamela Adlon, Lou Wilson, and Moises Arias.

“Scott (Davidson) has been a case of arrested development ever since his firefighter father died when he was seven. He’s now reached his mid-20s having achieved little, chasing a dream of becoming a tattoo artist that seems far out of reach. As his ambitious younger sister (Apatow) heads off to college, Scott is still living with his exhausted ER nurse mother (Tomei) and spends his days smoking weed, hanging with the guys — Oscar (Ricky Velez), Igor (Arias) and Richie (Wilson) — and secretly hooking up with his childhood friend Kelsey (Powley). But when his mother starts dating a loudmouth firefighter named Ray (Bill Burr), it sets off a chain of events that will force Scott to grapple with his grief and take his first tentative steps toward moving forward in life.”

After almost three years since Fargo last aired its most recent season, the network has finally released the first footage for the upcoming fourth season. 

The action-packed trailer features the installment’s cast which includes Chris Rock, Jason Schwartzman, Timothy Olyphant, and Ben Whishaw.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the new season which is set in 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri, tells the tale of Loy Cannon (Rock), who leads a crime syndicate made up of black migrants who fled the Jim Crow South. 

Per FX the season will delve deep into issues of “immigration and assimilation, and the things we do for money.” 

Fargo season 4 premieres April 19.

The film, based on the X-Men comics of the same name, finally gets a new trailer after debuting its first way back in October 2017. But then came multiple delays that bumped the title way back. 

The Josh-Boone stars Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Henry Zaga, Blu Hunt, and Charlie Heaton as five young mutants who are imprisoned against their will while discovering their powers.

The streaming giant has unveiled the final trailer for its three-part TV adaptation on Bram Stoker’s classic horror. The series hails from Sherlock co-creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. 

Starring as the fanged lead is Claes Bang.

Bang said in an earlier statement: “I am thrilled to be taking on the role of Dracula, especially when the script is in the hands of the incredible talents of Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss and the team responsible for Sherlock. The new trailer for the animated tale is here giving us a deeper look into the story of the two teenage elf brothers (Chris Pratt and Tom Holland) who set out on a journey to bring their father back to life.

Set in a largely magic-less suburban fantasy world — despite the hissing unicorns, the two embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still magic left out there.

“We’ve only got 24 hours to bring back the rest of dad. We’re going on a quest,” says Barley (Pratt) as he and his brother Ian (Holland) hop in a van.

The new clip also features Octavia Spencer’s Manticore, a once “fearless” magical creature that’s a part lion, part bat, and part scorpion. 

Mel Rodriguez, Lena Waithe, Ali Wong, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus also lend their voices to the Dan Scanlon-directed film.

Let us just remind you that the first trailer for the big-screen adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s acclaimed musical sent the internet into a full frenzy with its ultra weird visual effects. 

The feature directed by Tom Hooper (Les Miserables, The King’s Speech) includes all of Webber’s signature tunes from the original, but also several new songs. It features a BIG cast including Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, James Corden, Rebel Wilson, Ian McKellen, and Jason Derulo.

Onward, set in a suburban fantasy world, follows two teenage elf brothers who embark on a quest to discover if there is still magic out there. 

The new clip opens with footage of the magical world that the characters live in. “In times of old, the world was full of wonder and magic,” says a narrator. “But times change.” 

The trailer then cuts to modern-day and elf brothers Ian and Barley voiced by Chris Pratt and Tom Holland.

The new footage also introduces the voices of Octavia Spencer as Manticore and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Ian and Barley’s mom Laurel.

Onward hits theaters on March 6, 2020.

The long-awaited Season 4 of Rick and Morty also has a premiere date, November 10, but that date will serve as the premiere of only half of the season. 

“Half the season you deserve,” the trailer’s narrator says. “All the season we could handle.”

We do know that the 2nd batch of episodes is set to air sometime in 2020. 

The show’s co-creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon have traditionally struggled to meet deadlines in the past, something they attribute to the hit show’s high standards.

“There were so many things that had to be settled before we even started season 4, and it’s really safe to say — as Justin says — we’re literally writing season 5 while finishing season 4 just to force ourselves to commit to a certain schedule,” said Harmon. “Not to get anyone’s hopes up, but it is structured into our deal that if we’re going strong and fast there are options to deliver more episodes at a time.”

“We want every episode to be good,” Roiland added. “There are times we’re like, ‘Okay, this one will be the worst of the season,’ and we’re still compelled to do everything in our power to fix what we think is wrong with it. It could be considered one of the reasons the show takes so long. When we get the episodes back in color, it’s easy to see if that we cut this and add that, it will elevate this episode significantly. Sometimes we get them back and are like, ‘We need to roll our sleeves up and figure this out.’ This season’s been good. Pretty excited about this season.”

The film hails from Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese’s for Netflix.  

After several teasers, the trailer finally gives us a comprehensive look at Robert De Niro as mob enforcer Frank Sheeran, Joe Pesci as the ruthless crime syndicate boss Russell Bufalino, and Al Pacino’s Jimmy Hoffa.

As the film follows Sheeran from his mid-20s to his 80s, Scorsese put into use de-aging visual effects technology. 

“They didn’t want it to get in our way. And Marty didn’t want that … They had all kinds of cameras taking pictures, a special camera photographing us,” De Niro said of the de-aging process to Jimmy Fallon during his appearance on The Tonight Show Wednesday night.

The Irishman was penned by screenwriter Steven Zaillia (Schindler’s List, Gangs of New York). It also stars Ray Romano, Bobby Cannavale, Anna Paquin, and Jesse Plemons.

The Irishman premieres on Netflix November 27.

The trailer show’s Ratner acquiring a rare Ethiopian opal with mysterious powers. Seduced by the stone, he finds himself involved in run-ins with gangsters and even a nightclub brawl with the Weeknd, who plays himself in the film. 

The film also stars Idina Menzel as Dinah, Ratner’s wife. Eric Bogosian, Judd Hirsch, Mike Francesa, Julia Fox, and Pom Klementieff round out the cast.
