Reaching a billion views on YouTube isn’t an easy task, but Ozuna managed to do it time and time again. He just joined J Balvin as the artist with the most YouTube videos in the billion views club after his song “Síguelo Bailando” hit this coveted number.

“Síguelo Bailando” is Ozuna’s 12th song as a lead, featured artist, or collaborator to hit one billion YouTube views. This song was featured on his debut studio album Odisea from 2017, which won him the Billboard Music Award for top Latin album after spending 46 weeks atop Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart.

The list of Ozuna’s songs with billion views on YouTube also includes “Criminal” ft. Natti Natasha, “Taki Taki” ft. DJ Snake, Selena Gomez, and Cardi B, and “Te Bote Remix” with Casper, Nio Garcia, Darell, Nicky Jam, and Bad Bunny, which all crossed two billion views, as well.

Several songs from Odisea alone also crossed one billion views, including “Se Preparó” (1.6 billion), and Romeo Santos-assisted “El Farsante Remix” (1.7 billion).

Ozuna and J Balvin collaborated on several occasions and even crossed one billion views together two times—with “Ahora Dice” ft. Chris Jedi and Arcángel and “China” ft. Anuel AA, Daddy Yankee, and Karol G.

The 2021 MTV Video Music Awards are just around the corner, and several artists joined the lineup just a few days before the show. The Kid Laroi, Jack Harlow, Ozuna, and Tainy will be among the artists set to perform at the award ceremony this weekend.

The Kid Laroi will join Justin Bieber, who’s leading the list of nominees with nine nods, for the performance of their summer hit “Stay”. Jack Harlow is expected to join Lil Nas X for the live rendition of their collaboration “Industry Baby”, while Tainy will perform “Summer of Love” by Shawn Mendes’ side. Ozuna will hit the stage solo and perform his catchy single “La Funka”.

These four artists are set to join a long list of previously announced performers, which includes Camila Cabello, Doja Cat, Kacey Musgraves, and Olivia Rodrigo. Kim Petras, Polo G, and Swedish House Mafia are expected to perform during the pre-show ceremony.

The 2021 MTV Video Music Awards will take place on September 12th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, with Doja Cat hosting the festivities. In addition to Bieber, the list of major nominees also includes Megan Thee Stallion and BTS with seven nods each.

J Balvin already has four Latin Grammys under his belt, and it seems like he could soon add a few more to his collection. The list of Latin Grammy Award nominations is out, and the Colombian reggaeton superstar is leading the way, with a total of 13 nods.

J Balvin will be competing against himself in several major categories, including album and record of the year. He received two record of the year nominations, with solo single “Rojo” and Anuel AA, Daddy Yankee, Karol G, and Ozuna collaboration, “China”.

When it comes to the album of the year category, J Blavin sharing one of the nominations with Bad Bunny, who recorded the collaborative album Oasis by his side. Bad Bunny is also one of the major contenders at this year’s Latin Grammys with nine nods, while Ozuna came in third with eight.

The 21st Latin Grammy Awards will be held on November 19th. The ceremony will be anchored from Miami, with a live broadcast on Univision, and it’s expected to feature remote performances from all around the world.

Multiple outlets confirm that Ozuna has joined the cast of Fast & Furious 9. 

The Latin music superstar joins returning lead Vin Diesel in the franchise’s forthcoming ninth installment. The acting gig is the first landed by the musician after he signed with Hollywood agency UTA. 

According to Variety, he’s also in talks to join the film’s soundtrack.

Diesel took to social media to officially welcome Ozuna to the F&F family. 

“As you know, we have often found great talent in the music industry to cross over into film. They are expected to leave all the accolades at the door to embrace the character with integrity… and that is exactly what Ozuna has done. Very proud of your work and role in Fast 9 Pa Mi Gente! All Love, Always…”

Fast & Furious 9 will be directed by Fast & Furious 6 helmer Justin Lin from a script by Dan Casey from an idea by Alfredo Botello.

Multiple outlets confirm that Ozuna has joined the cast of Fast & Furious 9. 

The Latin music superstar joins returning lead Vin Diesel in the franchise’s forthcoming ninth installment. The acting gig is the first landed by the musician after he signed with Hollywood agency UTA. 

According to Variety, he’s also in talks to join the film’s soundtrack.

Diesel took to social media to officially welcome Ozuna to the F&F family. 

“As you know, we have often found great talent in the music industry to cross over into film. They are expected to leave all the accolades at the door to embrace the character with integrity… and that is exactly what Ozuna has done. Very proud of your work and role in Fast 9 Pa Mi Gente! All Love, Always…”

Fast & Furious 9 will be directed by Fast & Furious 6 helmer Justin Lin from a script by Dan Casey from an idea by Alfredo Botello.
