The successful horror novel is heading to cinema with Doctor Sleep’s Mike Flanagan adapting the script with an option to direct, while Trevor Macy is attached to procure the upcoming film.

According to IndieWire, which confirmed the news with a Warner Bros. spokesperson, Revival “spans five decades, opening in a small New England town, where a charismatic minister meets a small boy playing with his toy soldiers. When tragedy strikes the boy’s family, the preacher mocks all religious belief and is banished. The boy has become a musical nomad and a heroin addict by the time the two meet again.”

The latest King novel adapted to the big screen was It and It: Chapter 2. The two films have been the most successful adaptations grossing $700 million and $473 million, respectively, at the worldwide box office. Other films include Carrie, The Shining, Pet Sematary, The Green Mile, Stand by Me, Misery, The Shawshank Redemption, and others.

According to Deadline, Rogen joins the previously announced Greg Kinnear, Kumail Nanjiani, John Cho, Ike Barinholtz, Taissa Farmiga, Ginnifer Goodwin, Luke Kirby, Sanaa Lathan, Adam Scott, Rhea Seehorn, Alison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, Jessica Williams, DeWanda Wise, and Steven Yeun, and will star in an upcoming episode of the revival. 

According to the outlet, there’s no additional details about Rogen’s character nor any hint about which episode he is set to appear in. But considering the show’s affinity to the spooky and eerie  as well as twist endings, fans are sure not be disappointed. 

The cult classic has been revived by CBS All Access. It is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions. Peele will also serve as the show’s host and narrator.

The original series aired from 1959 to 1964 and was hosted and narrated by Rod Serling. 

Following its April Fool’s premiere, the show will air weekly on Thursdays.

Series creators, duo Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino have inked an overall deal with Amazon Studios, which could mean that the beloved show will make a comeback. 

The deal was announced by Amazon Wednesday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour. 

“Amy and Dan have a remarkable partnership, grounded in their complete trust in each other and evidenced by the magic they create on-screen — especially with revolutionary roles for women and with their trademark brilliant dialogue,” said Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke in a statement. “We celebrate the critical success of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and our extended overall deal with them, which will allow our Amazon Prime audience to continue to enjoy their groundbreaking show and future original series from this incredible duo.”

Vernon Sanders, Co-Head of Television at Amazon Studios then told reporters,”I don’t think [we’ve discussed Gilmore Girls],” Sanders said. “We are talking to Amy and Dan about a lot of things. That hasn’t come up. But I do think it speaks to our overall philosophy when it comes to talent, which is we think it benefits us when we have talent that’s creatively happy and have opportunities to do many things,” Sanders added. “If that show were to continue and it isn’t for us, we would obviously be happy to see it happen.” 

Gilmore Girls ran for seven seasons. It debuted on The WB in 2000 and starred Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as the mother-daughter duo. The show was brought back by Netflix after almost a decade with a four-part series, A Year in the Life.

A Beverly Hills, 90210 revival is officially in the works according to original cast member Tori Spelling. 

Following Spelling’s elimination from The Masked Singer, she spilled details on the 90210 reboot. Turns out those coffee dates with other original cast members were more than just catching up over coffee… 

“It’s not technically a reboot, because I feel like everyone has seen the reboot. We don’t want to be the last ones like doing the reboot thing, and no one wants to see like old versions of ourselves, but they do want to see us playing our characters, so what we’re doing is the entire cast is playing heightened versions of themselves,” Spelling told E! Online.

“There’s been shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm, episodes where its heightened versions of people playing themselves. This is the first time an entire cast will be playing heightened versions, so people would be going, ‘What’s fictional, what’s not fictional?’” she added. 

Spelling also confirmed that the majority of the original cast will be returning for the revival. “We have some issues because Luke [Perry] is full time on Riverdale, so he will do as many episodes as he can. But outside of that, we pretty much have the entire original cast,” she boasted.

Earlier this month we got a chance to hear the first single from the album titled Walk on Water featuring Beyoncé. The song produced by Rick Rubin and Skylar Grey (who also co-wrote the song) immediately became a hit with the fans. It entered the top 20 on the charts in 13 countries including the 7th spot on UK Singles and 14th on US Billboard Hot 100. The song made a live debut at the 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards when Eminem performed it with Skylar Grey singing the Beyoncé’s vocals. You can check out the song below.

Eminem revealed he has been working on a new album in October 2016. Revival will be Eminem’s ninth studio album and the first one after The Marshall Mathers LP 2 which was released in 2013.

Besides working on his new album, Eminem kept himself busy with collaborations with other artists and doing the soundtrack for movie Southpaw and TV show Motor City. He was featured on Skylar Grey’s Kill For You and Big Sean’s No Favors among others.

Those of us who were college-aged during the debut of Jersey Shore remember the show’s strangely well-timed alignment with our own personal goals. MTV’s wildly successful reality show is making its triumphant return to television this summer.

On August 20, chronicles of the gang’s adventures will air on E! in a special called Reunion Road Trip: Return To The Jersey Shore. 

Snooki, Pauly D, JWoww, The Situation, and Sammi Sweetheart will join up for an all-around lovefest in which they’ll catch up about their careers, relationships, and lives since Jersey Shore.

Admittedly, it’s a bit hilarious to see the group banded together just short of 10 years later. They look older, even a bit more predictable, maybe settled down in a way.

“We always said that we would take a nice vacation with each other,” JWoww told E!, “for like 10 to 14 days. Nothing more because we’d end up killing each other.”

The original Jersey Shore aired on MTV for six seasons from 2009 to 2012, but the network isn’t a part of the reunion program, nor is the original setting. Some filming took place in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and one local restaurant denied crews permission to film. Seaside Heights, where Jersey Shore was originally filmed, also rejected the new project.

Snooki and JWoww are actually both married with children these days, and that’s understandably calmed them down. The other cast members are also in serious relationships.

“I’m old now,” JWoww admitted. “I can’t handle a hangover like I did.”

Here’s hoping they have some sort of antics planned in order to fill that Snooki-sized hole in our fist-pump-loving hearts.

The second season of the revival will be 13 episodes long. There’s no word yet on when it will arrive on the NBC schedule. The upcoming return of Will & Grace will be on September 28. The revival was originally slated for 12 episodes, but it was extended to 16. Shooting will begin later this month. Show creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, who sued the network back in 2003 over rights, will return to work on the program.

The original run of Will & Grace from 1999 to 2005 was one of NBC’s most successful shows in their history. The show won the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2000, and each of its four main stars have earned at least one Emmy for their work. Plans for the revival started after a surprise reunion of the cast to promote the 2016 Presidential election.

Aside from its ratings, Will & Grace made a strong impact on the gay community. This was the first major sitcom to feature gay characters in lead roles, and it helped bring in a plethora of gay-themed shows on cable television. While Ellen came out during her ’90s sitcom, the show instantly dropped in ratings and was cancelled. Former ABC president Robert Iger said that it was “too much” for the public to see a gay character ever single week. Former Vice President Joe Biden was a major fan of Will & Grace and what it did for the country. “I think Will & Grace did more to educate the American public more than almost anything anybody has done so far. People fear that which is different. Now they’re beginning to understand,” he told Meet The Press in a 2012 interview.
