]]>Yep, you read right. The 46-year-old actress and entrepreneur had no recollection that she was in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Paltrow recently joined Jon Favreau and celebrity chef Roy Choi on Netflix’s newest food show The Chef Show. During her appearance, Paltrow questioned Favreau about the Netflix series.
“What is this TV Show for?” the Goop founder asked while the two cooked.
“We don’t really know. I started just filming. We were actually doing it when we were filming Spider-Man,” Favreau answered.
“Spider-Man?” Paltrow replied looking confused
“Yeah, we were in Spider-Man together,” Favreau replies. “Remember, we were on Spider-Man?”
“We weren’t in Spider-Man,” Paltrow argues.
“Yes, we were. You were in Spider-Man,” Favreau insists.
“I was in Avengers,” she said.
“No, you were in Spider-Man also,” Favreau said.
“Remember, Spider-Man at the end, and Tom Holland’s there and you’re gonna walk out and do a press conference?”
“Oh yes,” she said. “That was Spider-Man? Oh my God!”
Let’s just say that Favreau was completely in the right — Paltrow made a brief cameo as the character Pepper Potts at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

This means that Jackson’s Marvel character is now confined to appear in at least two movies next year, Far From Home and Captain Marvel. According to Vulture, Jackson will be digitally de-aged for the 1990s set Captain Marvel and will portray Fury before the eye patch era. Fury’s participation in the sequel will be the first time Fury will share scenes with Spiderman alongside his oft comrade-in-arms, Hill.
The feature will also see the return of Marisa Tomei as Peter’s Aunt May, Zendaya as his friend M.J., and Jacob Batalon as his best friend Ned. Playing the villain is Jake Gyllenhaal who will portray the iconic Mysterio.
