The show will feature Harvey giving his take on everyday life and “issues affecting his audience,” as well as interviews with performers, musicians, viral stars and others, per Variety.
“Reaching my audience anywhere and everywhere they are has always been the goal. Facebook Watch viewers are the most energetic, engaged community, and so are my amazing fans. Getting all those people to directly engage on a platform like this is the perfect evolution of the show,” said Harvey.
The daytime talk show is heading to the video-on-demand service operated by the social media giant after it ended its run in June on NBC after the network decided to fill its prime daytime slots with new entry The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Steve on Watch is set to premiere on January 6, 2020.

]]>The popular host is transforming his dream into a reality by bringing Family Feud to Africa – South Africa and Ghana, to be precise. Harvey doesn’t intend to stop there, and he’s hoping this is just a stepping stone for many amazing things to come.
“I believe Family Feud will become a household name for local South African and Ghanaian families. And this is just the beginning in Africa. I expect this show to lead to multiple media and business projects in and throughout the continent,” said Steve Harvey in a statement.
Family Feud has always been one of American game show staples, but Harvey completely reinvigorated this brand since taking on the hosting role in 2010. He’s currently on his way of becoming the longest-running host in the history of this show, and we’re really looking forward to seeing if he’ll try to bring Family Feud to other continents, as well.

]]>Multiple outlets confirm that Melissa McCarthy is to replace Steve Harvey as the host of the unscripted talent competition for kids. The series, which hails from Warner Horizon Television and Ellen DeGeneres’ A Very Good Production banner is set to return to NBC for its fourth season.
“Melissa’s just an incredible performer and incredible comedian,” NBC’s co-chairman of entertainment Paul Telegdy said in a statement. He added that the 48-year-old funny woman “will bring a completely fresh perspective to it. “Melissa is a strong creative force with her own ideas. Changes will be apparent.”
Fans should also expect a number of format changes: “Shows always go through an evolution and I know Meredith and the team in our Alternative division will come up with all sorts of fun ways to evolve the creative of the show because we feel that Melissa is a strong creative force with her own ideas about what the show should look like and changes will be apparent.”
No word yet on when the next season will debut.
