Remember when series episodes were released one week at a time? Yeah, us too.

Fortunately, streaming services have mostly put that agonizing wait to bed and allowed our binge-watching desires to run wild! After all, it’s already tough enough to have to wait one to two years for new seasons.

Fans of Stranger Things thankfully don’t have to wait that long between the first and second volumes of Season 4, with Part 2 due out next month. There was a rumor, however, that episodes of the fifth and final season would be dropped on a weekly basis. Shudder.

You’ll be pleased to know, then, that no such thing is taking place and you can lay back as the tiny icon stating “next episode in…” will still be popping up on your screen!

“For the fans of Stranger Things, this is how they’ve been watching that show, and I think to change that on them would be disappointing,” said Netflix’s head of scripted series for U.S. and Canada, Peter Friedlander, of the binge-watching format. “To not give them exactly what they’ve been expecting — which is Stranger Things is a seasonal experience, they go through that with them — I think that it would be an abrupt change for the member.”

The current structure is clearly working as the recently released fourth season of the Duffer Brothers’ series has become Netflix’s third most popular English-language TV season ever.

Kate Bush just keeps running up those music charts.

If you’re one of the millions who tuned into season four of Stranger Things, chances are high that you have “Running Up That Hill” stuck in your head.

Well, you (and Max) are not the only ones.

37 years after the track debuted, it has reached the top spot on iTunes.

Although “Running Up That Hill” was Bush’s most successful single during the ‘80s, the song peaked in third place on the UK Singles Chart and never made it higher than number 30 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song has a major role in the plot of Stranger Thing‘s fourth season and has resulted in a whopping 8,700% increase in global streams on Spotify. The figure is even higher in the US with an increase of more than 9,900%.

The 63-year-old singer has stated that “Running Up That Hill” is about the miscommunication between men and women. “I was trying to say that, really, a man and a woman can’t understand each other because we are a man and a woman. And if we could actually swap each other’s roles, if we could actually be in each other’s place for a while, I think we’d both be very surprised! And I think it would lead to a greater understanding.”

Bush is known for being selective when it comes to licensing her music. Producers provided scripts and footage for the singer to review so she could see exactly how the song would be used. It also helped that she is a fan of Stranger Things!

Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer have revealed that they already know how the show is going to end. They also confessed that they have known for quite some time.

Sometimes, when shows are popular, they continue to drag on while writes scrape around the barrel for an ending that will satisfy as many fans as possible. In the case of Stranger Things, the Duffers already know where the show is heading and how things will wrap up.

“We like to look at each season as kind of its own complete story,” Matt told Deadline. “We do have a pretty large mythology […] and season by season, we’re turning the page and revealing a little bit more and more.

“So we do have a general sense of where we’re going. We’ve known the ending of the show for quite a while.”

He added: “I mean, the honest truth is, we didn’t know if we would go beyond season one. So we liked the idea that season one could function as its own standalone limited series, but it had the potential to go beyond that.

“But yeah, we have an ending in mind, we don’t want to keep churning it out.”

You can watch seasons 1-3 of Stranger Things on Netflix now.
