What would it take to get @DavidKHarbour to be the Officiant at my wedding in September?!
— Ericka (@ErickaElizabth) January 15, 2018
A day after, the Stranger Things star answered, saying that he needs for his tweet to have 125k retweets, that the wedding date works with his shooting schedule, and he also wants the first piece of the wedding cake. If all of that pans out, he promised to get ordained and perform the ceremony.
125k retweets. Provided date works with s3 shooting schedule, I will get ordained and perform ceremony. I get to read an esteemed love letter of my choosing, and after the cake is officially cut, I get the very first piece. #allthecakes https://t.co/rSku8qD7uT
— David Harbour (@DavidKHarbour) January 17, 2018
Later, he added that he will allow all “bride and groom cake shenanigans” but that he wants the actual whole first piece of the cake.
I will allow the smearing of it on each other’s faces, licking icing off fingers and all other bride and groom cake shenanigans, but the actual first whole piece is mine, dammit. https://t.co/8NKZtbQfHS

Now, Harbour obviously underestimated internet, because in less than 24 hours, internet delivered and they easily went over the 125k retweets mark. The 42-year-old actor accepted the defeat this time but said “this is not over between us” referring to the internet.
Dammit. Not even 24hours. You’re kidding me. @ErickaElizabth DM me please to get the ball rolling. I’m making it seriously hard next time, internet, this is not over between us… https://t.co/Ht0kDCl5hz

It looks like it isn’t very wise to challenge the internet, because the internet users deliver each time, especially if a celebrity is involved.
We hope that Ericka will choose a fitting date because David Harbour has been a very busy man lately. He is set to reprise the role of Chief Jim Hopper in season three of Netflix’ hit series Stranger Things, for which he received numerous award nominations in 2017. Also, Harbour is currently filming the Hellboy reboot in which he plays the role of the titular character.

— Netflix US (@netflix) December 1, 2017
Of course, it was obvious that Netflix will carry on with Stranger Things after such positive response from the audience, but it is always good to have an official confirmation. Previously, the show’s creators Matt and Ross Duffer revealed to E! that their plan is to run Stranger Things for four or five season at max.
“I think, you know, four to five seasons is likely where we’ll end up, but who knows?” said Ross. “I mean, none of this official, and we know where we want to go. We’re trying to figure out still how long it’ll take to get there, so we’ll see.”
“It’s hard like four seems short, five seems long. So I don’t know what to do.” Matt added.
So far, we don’t know when season three could be released, but a realistic timeline is the end of 2018 or early 2019, given the 15 months gap between season 1 and season 2. The reports say that the filming of new episodes will start in Atlanta in the spring of 2018. The entire main cast is also set to return.
Finally, through interviews of the cast members and creators, we learned a bit about the setting of the Season 3. It will be set in 1985 and it might not take place in Hawkins.
Whatever happens, or wherever the show takes us, we are sure it will be one exciting journey.
