]]>HBO has released a trailer for the third season and Adrien Brody, Alexander Skarsgard, and Hope Davis have been introduced.
In the new season, the Roy family picks sides in the showdown between Kendall Roy (Jeremy Strong) and Logan (Brian Cox). Cousin Greg (Nicholas Braun) tells Kendall he’s the No. 1 trending topic on social media and that the Pope is following him on Twitter.
Other highlights of the trailer include FBI agents going in on Waystar Royco, a crowd protesting the company’s cruise ship sexual misconduct scandal, and Tom Wambsgans (Matthew Macfayden) offering Greg fake cyanide capsules. By the end of the trailer, Logan says he’ll be going “full, f***in’ beast” in his battle against Kendall.
The series won seven Emmys last year and was created by Jesse Armstrong, who also showruns and executive produces with Adam McKay, Frank Rich, Kevin Messick, Jane Tranter, Mark Mylod, Tony Roche, Scott Ferguson, Jon Brown, Lucy Prebble, Will Tracy, and Will Ferrell.
Also starring in the series are Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Hiam Abbass, Petr Friedman, Alan Ruck, J. Smith-Cameron, and Arian Moayed.

]]>The long-awaited third season will premiere on October 17, which is over two years after the Season 2 finale. Production was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and began last November.
HBO sent out the official logline for the season, “Ambushed by his rebellious son Kendall at the end of Season two, Logan Roy begins Season 3 in a perilous position, scrambling to secure familial, political, and financial alliances. Tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war.”
A teaser for the third season as released in July. The drama won seven awards at last year’s Emmys, including Outstanding Drama.
