]]>The festival takes place over four days from September 23-26 and it’s held in The Woodlands of Dover, Delaware. Eilish will be headlining Thursday, and the Killers will headline Friday, Impala Saturday, and Lizzo Sunday.
Megan Thee Stallion, Cage the Elephant, Phoebe Bridgers, Denzel Curry, Glass Animals, Caribou, Roddy Ricch, Wiz Khalifa, Diplo, Sylvan Esso, Taking Back Sunday, Band of Horses, Khruangbin, Nelly, Girl in Red, Arlo Parks, Duckwrth, KennyHoopla, Claud, Middle Kids, Aluna, and many others are set to perform.
Tickets go on pre-sale May 14 and general sale starts on May 17. They can be purchased on the festival’s website. General admission is $299, VIP is $699, and Super VIP is $2,499.
The festival was postponed in 2020 and then canceled the event. This will be the third time they’ve moved the event. Firefly is one of the many U.S. festivals set tot take place this year during the pandemic.

]]>We’ll have to wait until next summer to see all of these artists in one place, but co-producer Allen Scott sees this as a positive change. He’s thrilled for the festival to be coming back in 2021 when it’s safe for people to attend it.
“We want to give people something to look forward to. We’re hopeful that in sharing our excitement about the future of the festival and next year’s lineup, that it provides some much-needed positivity for our fans and community,” said Scott in a statement.
Outside Lands was supposed to take place in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park in August before the organizers decided to put it on hold. The 2021 edition of the festival is now scheduled for August 6-8, 2021.

]]>This gig comes at the most perfect time possible – only a week before the second season of her show, Killing Eve, premieres on BBC America. She’ll perform on SNL on March 30, with Australian indie band Tame Impala serving as musical guests.
This stint on Saturday Night Live will mark Oh’s return to NBC after a successful hosting gig at the Globes. She took on the hosting duty alongside SNL veteran Andy Samberg, and many fans are hoping her new BFF will make a surprise appearance during her episode.
In addition to hosting this year’s Globes, Sandra Oh also walked away with one shiny statue at the end of the night. She was crowned as the best lead actress in a television series – drama, becoming the first woman of Asian descent to win multiple Golden Globes.

Psyc-rock band Tame Impala announced their headlining slot on Twitter and promised fans: “New year. New shows. New sounds”. Childish Gambino’s music video for “This is America” was the most talked about track of 2018 and Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next” music video broke all time records on YouTube. In other words, the headlining slots at Coachella this year are in safe hands.
Other exciting names on the list include The 1975s, Anderson Paak, Solange, Kid Cudi, Aphex Twin and Weezer, to name a few. The weekend will be packed full of amazing acts from the emerging to the classic, demonstrating that 2019 will be another fantastic year for music.

]]>The upcoming album might feature members from indie bands Tame Impala, Klaxons and Mini Masons. According to NME, a listing from a German retailer claims that the album features the band’s keyboardist Tom Rowley, drummer Loren Humphries, as well as James Righton of Klaxons, Zach Dawes and Tyler Parkford from Mini Mansions and Tame Impala bassist Cam Avery.
It has not been confirmed but we only need to wait a month to find out if the new album really will be something of a “super album” featuring members from other leading and current indie groups.
