]]>Created by Jonathan Abrahams, The Arrangement was one of the two scripted series featured on E!, alongside The Royals. It premiered in March 2017, focusing on a young actress Megan Morrison, played by Christine Evangelista, who auditions for a role in a movie starring one of Hollywood’s most popular young stars Kyle West (Josh Henderson). After securing the role, Megan is offered a secret contract which would earn her $10 million if she marries West. Besides Evangelista and Henderson, the series also stars Lexa Doig, Carra Patterson, and Michael Vartan among others.
The first season of The Arrangement proved to be a success for E!, averaging 1.3 million total viewers. The series didn’t manage to carry over the success in season two, however, seeing a big decline in ratings with only 432.000 viewers tuning in for the season finale.
“Over two seasons, E!’s scripted series The Arrangement has taken viewers inside the world of an A-list movie star filled with secrets, scandal, and romance,” – E! spokesperson told Deadline. “While we have decided not to move forward with the series, we are incredibly grateful to the cast and our production partners.”
