There’s a lot of restructuring going on with the Hollywood release schedule.

It all began when Warner Bros. removed The Six Billion Dollar Man from its release schedule.

The Mark Wahlberg film which is based on the 1970s TV series of the same name was originally supposed to premiere on the 5th of June 2020 after the rights were purchased from The Weinstein Company. A director for the project has still not been announced, so it’s no surprise that the film has been delayed.

Instead, Warner Bros. has confirmed that it will release Wonder Woman 1984. The sequel to the 2017 hit starring Gal Gadot was initially expected on the 13th of December 2019 but has now been delayed for an epic summer debut, with Warner Bros. saying, “[with] the changing competitive landscape, this move lands the film exactly where it belongs.”

With Wonder Woman’s original release date now free, the Charlie’s Angels reboot will move earlier.

Sony has announced that the film, starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska as the kick-ass trio will hit screens on the 1st of November 2019.
