]]>The show mixes modern technology-based images and classic Japanese elements. It follows Yuichi, a teenage rabbit, a descendant of a great warrior called Miyamoto Usagi, who embarks on a journey to become a true samurai. Yuichi is joined by a group of companions including a bounty hunter, a ninja, and a thief, as well as a pet lizard. Together, they fight an assortment of enemies like metallic bats, moles, and other monsters, some from other dimensions.
Sakai, who’s been writing and illustrating the comic books since 1984, will executive produce the show. Atlan, Terry Kalagian, Sidonie Dumas, and Christophe Riandee from Gaumont; Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg, and Chris Tongue from Dark Horse, and Wan, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett from Atomic Monster will also serve as executive producers.
Ben Jones will serve as the supervising producer of the project and Khamg Le will be the series’ art director. The CGI animation will be provided by the Mumbai based studio, 88 Pictures.
