Lord’s ability to grant people their deepest desires, and for Diana Prince (Gadot) it’s the return of her long, lost love, Steve Trevor (Pine), who died at the end of 2017’s Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman 1984 was supposed to be released in June 2020, but due to COVID-19, it’s scheduled to open on October 2, 2020.

The trailer doesn’t actually give a release date, only confirms it’s opening in cinemas. “We all worked so hard to bring something that would be a big, visual spectacular. So we’re going to stick it out—we believe in putting it in the cinema,” Jenkins said in the panel.
