Directing is David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada, Marley and Me) and Brad Copeland (Arrested Development, Wild Hogs) is penning the script. Producing is Gil Netter (The Blind Side, Life of Pi) and Kevin Halloran (Ford v Ferrari) is executive producing.
Cranston is an Emmy and Golden Globe winner and he recently starred in Your Honor and The One and Only Ivan. He’s best known for his roles in Breaking Bad and Malcolm in the Middle. Bening is a four-time Oscar nominee and she most recently was in Hope Gap and The Report. Her next role is in Death On The Nile.

]]>Should the four-time Oscar nominee board the film, she is set to play Euphemia alongside previously cast Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Tom Bateman, Letitia Wright and Branagh, who will be reprising his role as detective Hercule Poirot.
Branagh will direct from a screenplay based on the 1937 fiction book by Christie adapted by Michael Green. Judy Hofflund, Simon Kinberg, Ridley Scott, Kevin Walsh, and Mark Gordon are producing.
Death on the Nile is a follow-up to Branagh’s 2017 Christie adaptation Murder on the Orient Express.
The film is slated for an October 9, 2020.

The psychological drama follows a retired doctor (Bening) suffering from Alzheimer’s who is trying to figure out — in her moments of clarity — if she killed the person the police claim she had, or if she’s being deceived.
“‘Turn of Mind’ is an edge of your seat emotional thriller. A story of a warped friendship between two brilliant, sharp, forceful women who are bonded equally by their love for and jealousy of one other,” Raff said. “I am thrilled to have two legends filling these roles. What struck me most when reading LaPlante’s novel was how she rarely breaks from Jennifer’s (Bening) point of view. So, with her, we go through the visceral experience of a woman who relied her whole life on her gifted mind, only to find herself losing it when she needs it most.”
Rocket Science who is financing the project announced the news Friday.
