Since then, the Saturday Night Live star has joked about his break-up on stage — which has not been to the amusement of his former fiancée.

So much so, that Ariana took to Twitter and (without tagging Pete) wrote, “For somebody who claims to hate relevancy [you] sure love clinging to it huh. Thank u, next.”

Now the 25-year-old has done the ultimate mic drop — releasing a single half an hour before SNL which is clearly directed at her ex.

The “God is a Woman” singer let her fans know that she will be going dark on social media for a while as she deals with changes taking place in her personal life.

In early September, her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller passed away from a drug overdose at the age of 26. In addition, last week it was announced that she and fiancé, Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, were ending their 4-month long engagement.

In an Instagram story, the 25-year-old said, “Time to say bye bye to the internet for just a lil bit. it’s hard not to bump news n stuff that I’m not tryna to see. It’s very sad and we’re all trying very hard to keep going. Love u. and thank u for being here always.”

Ariana deleted her story not long after, but we hope she is in a good place.

The Saturday Night Live star is currently living his best life after his girlfriend, Ariana Grande, accepted his proposal.

“I didn’t want to do something corny,” he told Variety. “We were in bed, hanging, after watching a movie. I was like, ‘Will you marry me?’ It was really dope.”

But, that hasn’t stopped the 24-year-old from believing that the whole thing will go up in smoke!

“I’m still convinced she’s blind or hit her head really hard,” he says. “Something is going to happen, and she’s going to be like, ‘What the f– is this thing doing around?’”

The “God is a Woman” singer recently revealed that she had a thing for the comedian ever since performing on SNL in 2016.

“I jokingly said to my tour manager [at the time]— I was like, ‘I’m marrying him 100 percent. I was like, ‘I’m literally marrying him.’”

Don’t worry, Pete. We think she’s quite into you.

The Saturday Night Live star recently had to undergo oral surgery, but lucky for him, his fiancée was on hand to make sure he was well taken care of.

The 24-year-old proposed to pop star Ariana Grande last month after the pair began dating in May.

So when Pete had his wisdom teeth removed, the No Tears Left to Cry singer was on hand to document his recovery (as well as offer him some soup, we assume!)

“Why did my doctor put this thing around my face like it’s the 20s?” she captioned a picture posted to Pete’s Instagram of him sleeping with his mouth open, covered in bandages.

Ariana then followed that up with a snapchat video of herself kissing the patient better.
