The Saturday Night Live star is currently living his best life after his girlfriend, Ariana Grande, accepted his proposal.
“I didn’t want to do something corny,” he told Variety. “We were in bed, hanging, after watching a movie. I was like, ‘Will you marry me?’ It was really dope.”
But, that hasn’t stopped the 24-year-old from believing that the whole thing will go up in smoke!
“I’m still convinced she’s blind or hit her head really hard,” he says. “Something is going to happen, and she’s going to be like, ‘What the f– is this thing doing around?’”
The “God is a Woman” singer recently revealed that she had a thing for the comedian ever since performing on SNL in 2016.
“I jokingly said to my tour manager [at the time]— I was like, ‘I’m marrying him 100 percent. I was like, ‘I’m literally marrying him.’”
Don’t worry, Pete. We think she’s quite into you.
