]]>Everything’s Going to Be Great has been described as “a valentine to big dreamers whose dreams won’t necessarily come true” and it’s expected the explore the themes of individuality vs. conformity and fantasy vs. reality.
At its very core, this film will tell a touching family story by taking us on a journey with the Smart family, as they move from one state to the next and cope with loss and struggle with identity—all while performing in regional theater.
In addition to Bryan Cranston and Allison Janney, this project will also star Benjamin Evan Ainsworth (The Haunting of Bly Manor) and Jack Champion (Avatar: The Way of Water).
Cranston is currently starring in Showtime’s crime drama Your Honor, and will soon appear in Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City and Matthew Vaughn’s Argylle. Allison Janney appeared in The People We Hate at the Wedding, Lou and To Leslie just last year, and we’ll soon see her in Gareth Edwards’ True Love and Apple TV+ series Mrs. American Pie.

]]>Showtime is yet to confirm the show’s cancelation, but Cranston said he’s getting ready to film the show’s last season in a recent episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast.
“I am [currently] preparing for the second and last season of Your Honor, which is a limited series that I did for Showtime. As they tell me, it got higher ratings than any other series they’ve ever had — and so, one more season of that,” said Cranston.
Your Honor was originally conceived as a limited series, but Showtime executives were so impressed by its ratings that they decided to bring it back for another round. It’s based on the Israeli TV series Kvodo and centers on a respected New Orleans judge, who goes to great lengths to protect his son after he kills a son of a vicious mafia kingpin in a hit-and-run.
Your Honor also stars Hunter Doohan, Hope Davis, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Michael Stuhlbarg, Carmen Ejogo, and Isiah Whitlock Jr.

It’s still unclear in what capacity Cranston and Paul will return, but they’re not the first Breaking Bad actors to appear in the show’s spin-off. The list also includes Bob Odenkirk as Saul Goodman, Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut, and Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring, among others.
Better Call Saul will conclude its run with the sixth and final season. It will premiere on AMC on April 18 and it will consist of 13 episodes split into two parts.

Showtime’s description of the show reads: “The 10-episode series is a legal thriller that rips through all strata of New Orleans society. Bryan Cranston stars as a respected judge whose son Adam is involved in a hit-and-run that leads to a high-stakes game of lies, deceit and impossible choices.” Your Honor is set to premiere on Showtime in December.

]]>The bad news is that it doesn’t look like a Breaking Bad reunion is in the works.
Fans of the series had gotten their hopes up after seeing several images popping up of Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul spending time together.
The pictures seemed to tie into rumors of a Breaking Bad movie which would follow Paul’s character, Jesse Pinkman, following the events of the 2013 finale.
But, alas, it seems not to be.
The good news, however, is that the series’ two stars are collaborating on another project — a new liquor brand.
Entitled Dos Hombres, the artisanal Mezcal is handmade in Mexico and has been described as having a smoky flavor.
Perhaps drinking some will take away the sting of not getting our reunion…
