The 30 Rock actor has been selected as Comedy Central’s latest “victim” for its comedy roast.

Baldwin’s time in the hot seat will place him in the same company as Bruce Willis, Rob Lowe, Justin Bieber, Charlie Sheen, James Franco, and Donald Trump, all of whom have been roasted by their colleagues and compatriots.

“Getting roasted will be the greatest honor of my lifetime besides being a father, a husband, hosting SNL seventeen times, receiving Golden Globes, Emmys and working with Martin Scorsese,” the 61-year-old said.

The Comedy Central Roast of Alec Baldwin will take place in New York with the broadcast date yet to be announced.

Bruce Willis best be polishing his fireproof armor because Comedy Central has now announced just who will be leading the cavalry for the Comedy Central Roast of Bruce Willis.

The Roast will be recorded at the Hollywood Palladium on the 14th of July, before being broadcast on the 29th.

The Die Hard actor is joining the ranks of James Franco, Charlie Sheen, William Shatner, and Justin Bieber as part of stars who have had the mickey taken out of them by their famous friends.

Bruce’s co-star from the 2012 film, Looper, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, will serve as master of ceremonies for the fiery event.

“I’ve looked up to Bruce my whole life. I was genuinely honored to work alongside him and, in essence, PLAY him when we made Looper together,” the 37-year-old said. “He has treated me with absolutely nothing but warmth and kindness. And so I look forward to mercilessly making fun of him on TV.”

Comedy Central has announced that the action star has been selected as the next honouree of its infamous comedy roast.

The Death Wish actor will follow in the footsteps of Charlie Sheen, James Franco, the late Joan Rivers, and even Justin Bieber when he takes the scorching hot seat on the date yet to be announced.

“This ain’t the first time I’ll be tied to a chair and held hostage by a group of humorless assholes for a couple hours,” quips the 63-year-old in the promo clip.

President of Comedy Central, Kent Alterman, has said, “Bruce has survived terrorists, Armageddon, romance and death itself. Yet, nothing has prepared him for this Roast.”

We’re expecting loads of shots taken at his career which includes 5 Die Hard films, a brief rendezvous as a recording artist, as well as the fact that his wife of 13 years, Demi Moore, married a man 23 years his junior.

There’s little doubt they’ll go the whole 9 yards.
