]]>The first two episodes of Criminal Minds: Evolution will premiere on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, but we’ll have to wait a little longer for the rest of it. New episodes will drop weekly on Thursdays, until its mid-season finale, set to premiere on December 15 before the series returns on January 12.
Criminal Minds: Evolution will feature a mix of new and familiar characters, with Joe Mantegna, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler, Adam Rodriguez, and Paget Brewster reprising their roles. The new series will show the FBI’s elite team of criminal profilers using a network of serial killers built during the pandemic to hunt down criminals.
Criminal Minds ran for 15 seasons before its shocking cancelation in 2020, and showrunner Erica Messer is excited to bring it back.
“We never wanted to go away to begin with. We knew there were plenty of stories to tell. You can fill behind the scenes is a show is lagging, or creatively the scripts aren’t hitting. That never happened to us,” said Messer during the Television Critics Tour.
