The streaming giant has unveiled the final trailer for its three-part TV adaptation on Bram Stoker’s classic horror. The series hails from Sherlock co-creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss.

Starring as the fanged lead is Claes Bang.

Bang said in an earlier statement: “I am thrilled to be taking on the role of Dracula, especially when the script is in the hands of the incredible talents of Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss and the team responsible for Sherlock. I’m so excited that I get to dig into this iconic and super-interesting character. Yes, he’s evil, but there’s also so much more to him, he’s charismatic, intelligent, witty and sexy. I realize that there’s a lot to live up to with all the amazing people that have played him over the years, but I feel so privileged, to be taking on this incredible character.”

The first trailer for the co-produced Dracula is here.

The series, which hails from Sherlock creators Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, stars Claes Bang as the blood-sucking Count. Jonny Campbell (Westworld), Damon Thomas (Killing Eve) and Paul McGuigan (Sherlock) direct the series.

The clip is accompanied by a “horror” warning label, and rightfully so. The gruesome trailer features blood spatter, a fly in an eyeball, loose fingernails, and Claes Bang, who stars as the revealing his fangs and whispering to a victim: “Stay calm, you’re doing very well.”

Dracula will run to three 90-minute installments. It will first premiere on BBC One in the UK, followed by a Netflix release.
