]]>Higher Than Heaven debuted atop the UK Albums Chart, with 11,818 album-equivalent units sold in its first week. It became her fourth studio album to reach No. 1 in this country, making her the only British female artist alongside Adele to achieve this feat.
Goulding said it was “such a lovely surprise” to score the first chart double of her career, and thanked her fans for making it happen.
“Guys, I am so, so happy to be holding these two awards for Number 1 album and Number 1 single. I’m speechless. This has made me so happy. Thank you so much to everyone for supporting my album, buying it and streaming it, and for supporting ‘Miracle,’” said Goulding while speaking to Official Charts while accepting her awards.
Higher Than Heaven was released on April 7, and it was preceded by singles “Easy Lover”, “Let It Die” and “Like a Saviour”. Despite helping Goulding build the hype for this record, “Miracle” isn’t a part of it, and it’s expected to be featured on Calvin Harris’s next album.

Goulding described Harris as a genius while discussing their latest collaboration with The Rolling Stone, adding she wasn’t sure if the song will ever see the light of day because he’s very picky.
“I thought after that song never came out, we were finished… But it was a no-brainer. He brings that confidence in me that I think I need for tracks like that. And I went back to my high-health ‘Lights’ days of being able to sing high notes,” she explained.
This is the third collaboration between Harris and Goulding following the release of their hits “I Need Your Love” in 2013 and “Outside” in 2014. “Miracle” already found success in the UK and it debuted at No. 2 on the UK Singles chart earlier this month.

The majority of collaborations that Goulding recorded leading up to this album can be found on its side B. This includes Lauv collaboration “Slow Grenade”, and the 2018 hit “Close to Me” featuring Diplo and Swae Lee.
Goulding described Brightest Blue as her “observations of relationships, heartbreak, love, and human behavior.” She also admitted that the process of writing this album helped her cope with her anxieties and that she’s lucky to have music to turn to during difficult times.

The song draws inspiration from one of Goulding’s past relationships which means she joins a growing list of amazing artists who gave us memorable break-up anthems in the last year or two.
“’Worry About Me’ is a song I wrote reminiscing about a time a guy wanted me at his convenience, just as I was getting over him. It is intentionally tongue-in-cheek because I’m not at all bitter, I just found it humorous,” said the singer in a statement.
“Worry About Me” is expected to be featured on Goulding’s next studio album which still doesn’t have an official title, scheduled to be released on June 5th.
