]]>The three-minute clip, unveiled during Saturday’s New York Comic-Con panel, featured returning cast members—Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, Aasif Mandvi, Michael Emerson, Christine Lahti, and Kurt Fuller—in their homes, emulating sound effects and narrating scenes that could very well be a part of the upcoming season.
Evil is a psychological mystery that unravels the origins of evil along the lines between science and religion. It focuses on a skeptical female psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a contractor as they investigate the Church’s backlog of unexplained mysteries, including supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and hauntings. Their job is to assess if there is a logical explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.

]]>This intriguing series centers on a clinical psychologist who teams up with a priest-in-training and a blue-collar contractor to investigate supposed supernatural incidents, and discover if there’s a scientific explanation behind any of them.
Evil stars Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, Aasif Mandvi. It has premiered on CBS this fall, alongside courtroom drama All Rise and the comedies Bob Hearts Abishola, Carol’s Second Act and The Unicorn. The network is putting full trust in all of them after a solid performance, and expanding their run for an unspecified number of episodes.
“These terrific new series have attracted a passionate base of viewers and consistent ratings while delivering entertaining, inclusive and relevant storytelling every week. We’re proud of this freshman class and excited about their potential to tell more great stories and further expand their audiences.” said CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl in a statement.

]]>The supernatural drama pilot that hails from the creators of The Good Fight has tapped Katja Herbers (Westworld) as the female lead in Evil.
Evil is written and executive produced by Robert and Michelle King. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Herbers will play Kristen Benoist, a skeptical clinical psychologist working with the Catholic Church in order to investigate cases of unexplained phenomena and to determine if there’s a scientific or supernatural explanation.
The pilot was penned by the Kings, who will also exec produce with Liz Glotzer, president of the couple’s King Size Productions. Robert will also direct the pilot.
Katja Herbers’ other credits include Divorce, Manhunt: Unabomber, The Leftovers, and Manhattan.
