The 2020 feature penned and helmed by Nolan, stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh. It follows Washington’s secret agent as he manipulates the flow of time in the hopes of preventing another world war.
While most studios have opted to push all major tiled out of 2020 due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Warner Bros. believed that Tenet will in fact make more money by launching in theaters rather than it would have if it had debuted on HBO Max.
Other Nolan films include Inception and Dunkirk.
