Frozen 2 has just joined a very lucrative club.

Multiple outlets confirm that the hit sequel to the original hit animated feature has officially passed the $1 billion mark at the global box office, grossing $366.5 million domestically and $666 million internationally.

That makes it the sixth Disney release of the year to join the billion-dollar club and the eighth overall.

The original 2013 film also crossed the impressive benchmark grossing $1.28 billion at the global box office, which also earned it the title of the top-grossing animated film of all time.

The sequel did, however, cede the No. 1 domestic box office spot to Jumanji: The Next Level, with an impressive $60.1 million last weekend.

The other 2019 films in the billion-dollar club are Avengers: Endgame, The Lion King, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Captain Marvel, Toy Story 4, Joker and Aladdin.
