Good Trouble debuted in 2019 as a spinoff of The Fosters. Season 3 was the longest season of the show with 19 episodes.

The show, which is one of the few scripted originals airing on Freeform, is co-created by Joanna Johnson, Peter Paige, and Bradley Bredeweg.
