Freeform has renewed Good Trouble for Season 4.

The renewal announcement was made after the 90-minute Season 3 finale of the series. The show follows the residents of Downtown Los Angeles’ The Coterie as they balance their career, love, and friendship as they learn that standing up for what you believe in can cause good trouble. Season 3 ended with Callie (Maia Mitchell) questioning her career choices.

Cierra Ramirez, Sherry Cola, Tommy Martinez, Zuri Adele, Emma Hunton, Josh Pence, and Beau Mirchoff also star in the series.

Good Trouble debuted in 2019 as a spinoff of The Fosters. Season 3 was the longest season of the show with 19 episodes.

The show, which is one of the few scripted originals airing on Freeform, is co-created by Joanna Johnson, Peter Paige, and Bradley Bredeweg. Johnson also serves as executive producer with Gregory Gugliotta, Christine Sacani, Mitchell, Ramirez, Jennifer Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, and Benny Medina.
