Edgar Wright’s latest film tells the story of an aspiring fashion designer (Thomasin McKenzie) who’s mysteriously transported into the body of a 1960s nightclub singer (Anya Taylor-Joy) to dire consequences.
The 2018 film Halloween did a great job reinvigorating this popular slashes franchise. Its sequel is just around the corner and it will continue the saga of the sinister killer Michael Myers and fierce survivor Laurie Strode who will do everything in her power to stop him.
Several horror movies are coming to Netflix this month, but Night Teeth looks the most promising. It centers on a freelance chauffeur, who realizes that two women he picked up for a night of partying in LA are actually centuries-old vampires with bloodthirsty intentions.

]]>The latest installment in the franchise has Jamie Lee Curtis reprising her role as Laurie Strode trying to end serial killer Michael Myers once and for all. The final trailer has tons of action and scares as survivors attempt to kill Myers.
The movie is the sequel to 2018’s Halloween and the 12th installment in the slasher franchise which was created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. Both films take place in the Carpenter-Hill universe and are sequels to the 1978 original.
The most anticipated moment in the trailer is Myers having his mask removed, showing his face, which only happened briefly in the first film. In other installments, his head has been shown with his face obscured.
Halloween Kills is produced by Malek Akkad, Jason Blum, and Bill Block.
The movie comes to theaters and on Peacock on October 15. Watch the final trailer below.

]]>On top of sharing the release date, Universal Studio also revealed that the movie will be available “day and date” in theaters and on streaming service Peacock.
Halloween Kills, directed by David Gordon Green, sees the return of Jamie Lee Curtis and Nick Castle in their roles of Lauri Strode and killer Michael Myers respectively. The movie picks up where Halloween ended and follows the Strode family teaming up with others who survived the encounter with Myers in an attempt to end his killing spree once and for all.
The feature was initially confirmed in 2019 and was set to arrive in the fall of 2020. However, due to the pandemic, the release was delayed for one year. Another sequel, titled Halloween Ends is set to follow in 2022.
2018’s Halloween was the 11th entry in the Halloween film series but was envisioned as a direct sequel to 1978’s original. The movie was met with positive reviews from the critics, who labeled it as a return to the franchise’s roots. It ended up becoming a big box-office hit, earning $256 million and becoming the highest-grossing slasher in the history of cinema.

]]>Hall has been tapped to star as the franchise’s lead character, Tommy Doyle, in the upcoming sequel Halloween Kills. The part was originally played by Brian Andrews in the 1987 horror classic.
The sequel will be directed by David Gordon Green from a script written by Green and Danny McBride, among others. Green will also helm the second sequel also announced in July titled Halloween Ends.
Halloween Kills hits theaters October 16, 2020, and Halloween Ends is set to be released October 15, 2021.
