]]>The tour, which will feature 21 Savage as a supporting act, opens with a concert in Miami on September 24th and wraps up with a show in Los Angeles on October 21st. R&B singer and rapper Morray, who appeared with Cole and Savage on The Off-Season track “m y . l i f e,” will come along as a special guest.
As part of the announcement, Cole revealed dates for several festival appearances as well. He will be featured in the New York and Los Angeles editions of Rolling Loud Festival to close out 2021 while also appearing on his own Dreamville Fest in April 2022.

J. Cole released The Off-Season in May and met with positive reviews from the critics. The album was also a huge commercial success, topping the US Billboard 200 charts. Four songs from the record debuted in the top 10 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, while all The Off-Season tracks were in the top 40 at one point.
Shortly after releasing the album, Cole ventured into professional basketball. He signed a deal with Rwanda’s Patriots Basketball Club but only appeared in three games before leaving the team.

]]>The Off-Season easily hit no. 1 with 282,000 equivalent album units within the first week. To make the whole thing even more impressive, Cole scored the largest week for a hip-hop album in 2021, and the second-largest overall after Taylor Swift’s Fearless (Taylor’s Version).
The title of this album ties in with J. Cole’s basketball career, and he told Slam Magazine that it “symbolizes the work that it takes to get to the highest height” and “represents the many hours and months and years it took to get to top form”.
The Off-Season was released on May 14th, and it was preceded by singles “The Climb Back” and “Interlude”. He also promoted its release with a short documentary Applying Pressure: The Off-Season Documentary and announced it will be followed by his upcoming album The Fall Off.

]]>Cole shared the cover art for the album on Instagram while adding in the caption that The Off-Season was “years in the making.” Tracklist and further details about the project are currently kept under wraps.
It was previously believed that Cole’s next record will be titled The Fall Off since the last song on KOD was titled “Intro to ‘The Fall-Off’.” He also released two singles from the album, “The Climb Back” and “Lion King on Ice,” which were coupled on a 2020’s EP Lewis Street.
Reports say that Cole still intends to release The Fall Off as a separate project but that the album will come at a later date.
Since the release of KOD, J. Cole kept himself busy with the compilation album Revenge of the Dreamers III. The LP, which came out in 2019, featured artists from his Dreamville label and guests like DaBaby, Ty Dolla Sign, and Vince Staples. It remains unknown whether “Snow On Tha Bluff” will be featured in J. Cole’s forthcoming sixth studio album.
In recent weeks, Cole announced his second annual Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina has been canceled due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic. It was originally scheduled for April 4 and later rescheduled for August 29. However, “after much deliberation and careful monitoring of the current situation, we have decided to cancel,” reads a statement posted mid-May.
