Production should kick off in January next year, and the film is also set to star Jason Isaacs as Ryder’s working-class guitar hero dad, Maxine Peake as his long-suffering mum and Holliday Grainger as his girlfriend.

He started rising through the ranks shortly after ending his run on this show and went on to star in Angelina Jolie’s movie Unbroken and critically acclaimed series Godless. He can soon be seen in indie dramas Seberg and Jungleland.

Chloë Grace Moretz earned the title of the most promising young actress of her generation long before being cast as Bonnie. Her most recent credits include Sundance hit The Miseducation of Cameron Post and Luca Guadagnino’s remake of Suspiria.

Jack O’Connell rose to prominence thanks to the role in teen drama Skins and won BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2015 after giving a career-defining performance in Angelina Jolie’s Unbroken.
