]]>The music superstar has made history as the first Black woman to wear the iconic 128.54 carats Tiffany Diamond. The Grammy-winning performer wore the stunning Yellow diamond on a long chain adorned with more than 100 carats of diamonds, previously worn by only three other people including Audrey Hepburn.
But that’s not all! Queen Bey also donned a host of other luxury jewels including a 22-carat cushion-cut yellow diamond ring.
“Beyoncé and Jay-Z are the epitome of the modern love story,” Alexandre Arnault, executive vice president of product and communications, said in a release. “As a brand that has always stood for love, strength, and self-expression, we could not think of a more iconic couple that better represents Tiffany’s values. We are honored to have the Carters as a part of the Tiffany family.”
The Tiffany Diamond was unearthed in South Africa in 1877. It has been worn by Mary Whitehouse, Hepburn, and singer Lady Gaga.

]]>The 2021 edition of the festival will be headlined by rising rap star Lil Baby and Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber while also promising performances from Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Roddy Ricch. The bill also includes A$AP Ferg, Tinashe, Lil Durk, and Freddie Gibbs, alongside a number of later additions.
The two-day event, marking the 10th anniversary of the festival, will take place at Philadelphia’s Ben Franklin Parkway on Labor Day weekend (September 7-8).
“This year will be like no other, as Made In America celebrates 10 years of music history-making moments,” said founder Jay Z, who also serves as a curator of the festival. “We look forward to sharing incredible memories with our festival attendees and the city of Philadelphia.”
Jay Z founded Made in America as a way to bring music and culture together. The inaugural event was held in 2012 and had 80,000 people attending. The audience grew each year since, with the festival welcoming some of the biggest names in popular music.
A Los Angeles-edition of the festival was held in 2014, but it turned out to be a one-off event due to poor ticket sales.

They were eligible for the induction this year because their first commercial recording was released at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination.
This year’s list of inductees is quite historic because three of them—Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, Tina Turner, and Carole King—entered the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for the second time. Chairman John Sykes also noted it’s a true rarity that three of the six inductees are women.
“This is our most diverse class in the history of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. It really represents the Hall’s ongoing commitment to honor the artists that have created not only rock & roll, but the sound of youth culture,” said Sykes in a statement.
The induction ceremony is expected to take place on October 30th at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

In fact, according to Forbes it is now a fact.
The US business publication has named Jay-Z as the world’s first billionaire rapper.
“It’s clear that Jay-Z has accumulated a fortune that conservatively totals $1 billion (£790 million), making him one of only a handful of entertainers to become a billionaire — and the first hip-hop artist to do so,” the magazine stated in its recent edition.
The 49-year-old’s fortune is not solely music-related (although that does make up a significant $75 million), but also his stakes in drinks brand Armand de Brignan and D’Ussé cognac, Tidal, Roc Nation, an impressive art collection, and property.
Plus, he’s married to Beyoncé with three beautiful children, so he’s rich in other ways too.
