]]>Shortly after teasing new music with a free concert in his hometown of Memphis, Timberlake finally confirmed he has a new album on the way. He made things official by sharing a teaser for a mystery project Justin Timberlake Presents: Everything I Thought It Was, hilariously narrated by the Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro.
“What do we have here? Ooh, that’s a nice car! Wait, it’s a model. Did that say JT? OK, that sunset is definitely not real. Oh, there’s Justin! Why won’t he turn around? What the f— is he staring at?” says Del Toro in the trailer.
Everything I Thought It Was is believed to be the title of Timberlake’s upcoming sixth solo studio album, and he’ll promote its release with the new single “Selfish”. This announcement comes six years after the release of the singer’s last LP Man of the Woods, which came out in 2016 and produced singles “Filthy”, “Supplies”, and “Say Something”.

]]>“3D” was released as the second single from Golden and originally featured Jack Harlow, but Jungkook decided to shift the gears. He released several remixes of this song, with the British producer A. G. Cook and American DJ MK, but its latest version is the most impressive one yet.
According to the statement by Jungkook’s label, Big Hit Music, “this remix enhances the 2000s vibe of the old school sound of the original version, infusing it with a retro charm.” It clocks at 2:40, making it the shortest remix of “3D” so far.
Timberlake is credited as a co-writer of the new version, and he contributed such lyrics as, “Now let me fly you out to Seoul, Korea / I just wanna get into your soul like Aretha / I got the volume when you wanna get the beat up.”
“3D” was featured on Jungkook’s debut album Golden, which hit the shelves on November 3. “Seven” ft. Latto was released as its lead single and debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the duo’s first No. 1 single in the U.S.

]]>NSYNC’s reunion doesn’t come as a huge shocker since they’ve been dropping hints about their potential comeback for quite some time. It all started when the poster for Trolls Band Together featuring the first letter of the NSYNC logo popped up in New York, and featured a QR code leading to a website TakeYouToABetterPlace.com, hinting at the title of their comeback single “Better Place”.
Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, and Chris Kirkpatrick sparked even more rumors about their potential reunion after appearing together at the MTV VMAs and confirmed they have a new song coming out just a day later.
“Better Place” will be released on September 29, and a snippet was featured in the new trailer for Trolls Band Together, starring Timberlake, Anna Kendrick, Zooey Deschanel, Camila Cabello, Kid Cudi, and Troye Sivan. This marks their first song together in over 20 years, since the release of their fourth studio album Celebrity in 2001.

]]>Funk Wav Bounce, Vol. 2 is the follow-up to 2017’s first volume which featured Frank Ocean, Pharrell, Ariana Grande, John Legend, and Katy Perry. The album debuted at No. 2 on the US Billboard 200, and included the singles “Slide” and “Feels”.
Five years later, the “Potion” hitmaker has returned and Dua Lipa, Charlie Puth, Offset, Halsey, Pharrell, and Justin Timberlake are joining him. Four singles from Funk Wav Bounce, Vol. 2 have already been released.
Harris revealed the track list on his social media accounts. Titles include “Woman of the Year”, “Nothing More to Say” and “Live My Best Life”.
In June, the Grammy Award winner dropped the music video for “Stay With Me” which features Justin Timberlake, Halsey, and Pharrell on vocals. The video sees all four artists sporting bright colors as they perform the song, with Timberlake imitating a guitar in the air with his hands and dancing on a moving walkway.
Funk Wav Bounce, Vol. 2 is set to hit shelves on August 5, 2023.

]]>Harris teamed up with his frequent collaborator Emil Nava to make this video come to life. The retro visual is filled with kaleidoscope-inspired frames, showing the four stars exploring the funky, psychedelic universe in a series of funk-inspired outfits.
“Stay with Me” marks the first collaboration between Harris and both Timberlake and Halsey, but he worked with Williams on several occasions in the past. He was featured on his 2017 singles “Heatstroke” alongside Young Thug and Ariana Grande and “Feels” with Katy Perry and Big Sean.
Both of these songs were featured on Harris’ album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, and its follow-up is just around the corner. Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 is set to hit the shelves on August 5, and “Stay with Me” serves as the third single from this record.
This album will also feature previously released singles “Potion” featuring Dua Lipa and Young Thug and “New Money” featuring 21 Savage. The list of additional collaborators also includes Snoop Dogg, Normani, Pusha T, Charlie Puth, Tinashe, Jorja Smith, Chloe Bailey, and Lil Durk.

]]>Timberlake was on the late-night show promoting his new film Palmer and Fallon asked him about his new baby with Jessica Biel as well as his next album.
“Can we say? Is there a possibility that there’s going to be a new Justin Timberlake album in the works?”, Fallon asked the singer.
“Yeah, we can say that. There’s a possibility,” the singer responded.
“Let’s go with yes. I’ve been in and out of the studio working on stuff. I played you a few tunes,” he continued.
Timberlake’s last full-length album, Man of the Woods, was released in 2018. In 2020, he collaborated with Ant Clemons on the song “Better Days”.
In regards to the future, the “SexyBack” singer told Fallon he’d love to work with Kendrick Lamar or Travis Scott. He even joked that he would invite Fallon in on a track.

]]>Timberlake discussed the amazing news during a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He told the host she was actually one of the few people “outside of the immediate family” to learn the lucky news and even shared the name of his second son.
“His name is Phineas and he’s awesome. And he’s so cute. And nobody’s sleeping. But we’re thrilled. We’re thrilled and couldn’t be happier, very grateful,” said the singer.
Rumors of Biel’s pregnancy started circling around last summer, and Timberlake’s former NSYNC bandmate Lance Bass revealed that the “Can’t Stop the Feeling” singer shared baby photos in a group chat in September. Timberlake and Biel tied the knot back in 2012 and welcomed their first son Silas in 2015.

We finally know what they’ve been working on and “Don’t Slack” won’t be the only song on the Trolls World Tour soundtrack recorded by Anderson .Paak. He landed one of the key voice roles in the upcoming movie, and will also be featured on tracks titled “Just Sing”, “It’s All Love”, and more.
The soundtrack for the first Trolls movie was a huge hit, and it made it to no. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. Its biggest hit “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” went on to become the best-selling single of the year 2016 in the US, and won a Grammy for best song written for visual media.

Blige, Kelly Clarkson, Sam Rockwell, Icona Pop, Jamie Dornan, J Balvin, and Kenan Thompson.
“We’re gonna need a battle plan and weapons,” Timberlake’s Branch tells Kendrick’s Poppy in the clip after the two decide to stop Queen Brab’s (Bloom) plot to destroy all other kinds of music except for rock.
Trolls World Tour is set to hit theaters on April 17.

The “Can’t Stop the Feeling” singer, Justin Timberlake, who previously starred in The Social Network, was originally eyed for the lead role after he portrayed Elton in the music video for “This Train Don’t Stop There Anymore”.
“We never formally approached Justin because we weren’t ever at a stage where it was the right time to approach him,” David Furnish told The Hollywood Reporter. “But he did an amazing job in the video. He put on a prosthetic nose, and it turned out to have been some really interesting acting work as well.”
