Trolls World Tour is coming to theaters next month, and it will come with another amazing soundtrack. Anderson .Paak and Justin Timberlake are only two of the artists set to be featured on this record, and their new song “Don’t Slack” is here to rock your world.
Timberlake teased his collaboration with the Grammy-winning rapper during an appearance on Zane Lowe’s Apple Music Beats 1 show. He admitted they discussed “a possible joint project,” but it took some time for it to come together because they’re both pretty busy.
We finally know what they’ve been working on and “Don’t Slack” won’t be the only song on the Trolls World Tour soundtrack recorded by Anderson .Paak. He landed one of the key voice roles in the upcoming movie, and will also be featured on tracks titled “Just Sing”, “It’s All Love”, and more.
The soundtrack for the first Trolls movie was a huge hit, and it made it to no. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. Its biggest hit “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” went on to become the best-selling single of the year 2016 in the US, and won a Grammy for best song written for visual media.
